From regulatory certification to voluntary certification, Centrexpert supports you in your process.

The various operations carried out on an installation or equipment are concerned, whether they are carried out by the user company or subcontracted to external companies (design offices, installers, repairers, etc.).

For the latter, however, for the moment, no specific ATEX regulatory text exists.

The transcription in each member state of the European Directive ATEX 1999/92 / EC requires the heads of establishments where EXplosive ATmospheres (ATEX) may occur, the development and updating of a Document Relative to Protection Against Explosions (DRPCE).

This document must, among other things, show "that workplaces and work equipment, including alarm devices, are designed, used and maintained with safety in mind".

As a result, INERIS has set up voluntary service certification benchmarks for companies operating in the following areas:

• repair in the workshop of electrical and non-electrical equipment usable in ATEX (Saqr-ATEX certification),


• the design, construction and maintenance of electrical installations in ATEX (Ism-ATEX certification).

These standards are filed with the Standardization, Quality and Industrial Property Sub-Directorate of the Ministry of the Economy, Finance and Industry (available, on request, from INERIS).
